Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Supply Chain Planning student for its Production Scheduling unit in Huddersfield. This placement runs through Summer 2027, with on-site requirements and travel/relocation as needed.

You will update global scorecards, track metrics for continuous improvement, and work with cross-functional teams across projects. Excellent MS skills and a willingness to learn are essential for success.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics.
Strong Microsoft skills including Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is advantageous.
Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
Willingness to learn and solve problems.

Responsibilities

Updating and publication of Global Scorecards and Metrics for the business.
Ensure metrics are accurately tracked to enable continuous improvement.
Collaborating with Global Project Teams, Material Planning, Demand Management, Account Management and Purchasing on improvement initiatives.
Involvement and support in creating, maintaining and potentially leading supply chain projects across multiple sites.
Manipulating and using data to establish the basis for actions.
Gather material and chase actions for the Global Supply and Demand Review.
