Cummins Inc. is offering a student internship in Supply Chain Planning at our Columbus, Indiana site. You will assist with planning, purchasing, and logistics tasks across manufacturing and planning functions while collaborating with engineering and suppliers.

Successful candidates are enrolled full-time, pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with a 2.5+ GPA preferred, and available to commit 4–12 months, at 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be a full‑time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited U.S. college/university.
• Minimum GPA 2.5 preferred.
• Must be able to complete 4–6 months or up to 12 months commitment.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and maintaining daily Supply Chain operations in areas such as materials, production, inventory, logistics, or order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify problems with product and performance and recommend improvements.
• Participate in functional process improvement teams and monitor planning system parameters.
