Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking an EKG Technician to perform diagnostic 12-Lead EKGs and rhythm strips under limited supervision. The role supports physicians in patient assessment and treatment within Covenant's electrocardiology department.

Qualifications include BLS, Holter-related training, and demonstrated proficiency as an EKG Technician, with preferred exposure to 12-Lead interpretation through Covenant Training.

Formación

• Holder of BLS certification for cardiology support roles.
• Completion of Holter advanced arrhythmia training.
• Completion of company-sponsored Holter training course.
• Must be a trained EKG Technician.
• 12-Lead EKG interpretation training is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Performs clear, diagnostic 12-Lead EKGs and rhythm strips to assist physicians.
• Provides care with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborates with the electrophysiology team for patient treatment.

Required qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

• Coursework/Training: Holter: Advanced Arrhythmia Class.

• Coursework/Training: Holter: Successfully completed company sponsored Holter training course.

• Holter: Must be a trained EKG Technician.

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Training in 12-Lead EKG Interpretation is preferred but is offered to employee through Covenant Training and Development Department or Education and Research department with Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiac Services.
