Job summary

A home health service provider is seeking a caregiver responsible for providing custodial and personal care services under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Candidates should have training or certification as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant, with a preference for those with experience in home care settings. Responsibilities include companionship, cooking, light housekeeping, and assistance with transportation. Hourly, non-exempt position with flexible schedules and various benefits including mileage reimbursements and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Completed formal home health aide training or certification as a Nursing Assistant per state law.
• One year experience in home or long-term care setting preferred.
• CPR Certification Card, TB Test, CEU's, Level 2 live-scan criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Job description

Description: This position provides custodial and personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in compliance with the Plan of Care designated by the RN.

Education:Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant

Qualifications: Individual must have successfully completed and provide evidence of formal home health aide training orcertification as a Nursing Assistant per state law and regulation. One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.

Requirements:CPR Certification Card, TB Test, CEU's and Level 2 live-scan criminal background check.

Reports to: Director of Nursing

Duties Include:Companionship, cooking, light housekeeping, and assistance with transportation, errands, and personal care.

Hours: Dependent on assignment. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.

FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly
