Chemours is seeking a Material Handler - Operations for the Washington Works plant in Washington, WV. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of packaging, blending, and warehousing activities, ensuring quality and adherence to SOPs.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, recording data, performing basic maintenance, and handling materials with a powered truck. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid license, and be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts with overtime;

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including overtime, weekends, and short notice call-ins.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, climb stairs, stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, and reach overhead; PPE must be worn.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Mansioni

• Monitors and operates equipment and facilities, including field equipment (e.g. blending, mixing, packaging systems, and warehousing).
• Maintains safety standards and follows emergency procedures at all times.
• Performs basic maintenance repair and upkeep on area equipment.
• Move control settings to adjust speeds of packaging/blending equipment.
• Record operating data, process conditions, test results, and instrument readings.
• Draw samples to ensure quality.
• Move materials using an industrial powered truck.
• Interpret packaging material quality per customer specifications.
