Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Product Unit Operator in Perdue Hill, AL to safely operate production machines and meet mill production and quality goals. The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts with overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays, in a hot, noisy industrial environment with exposure to dust and chemicals.

You will progress through skill levels, handle equipment cleanup, monitor process variables, and participate in safety trainings while adhering to safety rules and wearing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in Process Operations or Electrical/Instrumentation OR two years or more of experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience using a computer, tablet or smart device.

Responsabilités

• Operate and troubleshoot the Pulp Machine within the scope of operations.
• Develop knowledge of all operating systems on the Pulp Machine through progression across skill levels.
• Perform equipment cleanup and basic maintenance tasks as needed.
