Job summary

Kreate is hiring an Hourly Associate at our Georgetown, TX production plant. The role runs on a night shift (7pm–7am) on a 2-2-3 schedule, focusing on operating injection molding machines and producing quality parts for consumer goods sold by major retailers.

The starting pay is $20 per hour with scheduled increases every six months. Candidates should have reliable transportation, strong attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with basic math and English

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods.
• Must be able to perform basic math.
• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Must be able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Operate various injection molding machines to produce quality parts.
• Maintain efficiency to the approved standard.
• Inspect items visually to ensure defect-free quality.
• Prep products via deburring and cleaning to meet standards.
• Inspect and pack products per quality standards.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and organized.
• Provide accurate production reporting and scrap counts at shift end.
• Communicate with prior shift for important job information.
• Report issues to Team Leaders and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hourly Associate

This position is responsible for running various injection molding machines to produce a quality product within the production standards that will be shipped to the end consumer.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Maintain efficiency to the approved standard
• Inspect items and sort by means of visual inspections to insure they are defect free
• Prep product via deburring and cleaning to meet product standard
• Inspect and pack product in accordance to the standard
• Maintain work area and equipment by cleaning, organizing and keeping it in orderly condition
• Provide accurate production reporting and scrap counts at the end of the shift
• Communicate with previous shift to receive important job information
• Communicate with Team Leaders and supervisors when there are issues
• Complete other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate required
• Must have the ability to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced work environment, which includes long periods of standing
• Must be able to perform basic math skills
• Attention to detail is imperative
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be able to lift heavy boxes on a regular basis
• Able to work in a team environment
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed
• Must be able to read and write in English
