Job summary

Powers Health in Munster, IN is hiring a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery to work nights on a 12-hour shift with mandatory call and every 3rd weekend. This 0.9 FTE position offers a chance to contribute to a high-acuity OB unit with a dedicated team.

The role requires Indiana RN licensure and CPR certification; BSN is preferred and successful candidates will receive a competitive benefits package and wage opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Indiana nursing license (RN).
• BSN preferred.
• Obtain and maintain CPR certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate and document the nursing process.
• Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Practice according to standards of care, Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies; support PH mission.
• Demonstrate values: dignity, compassionate care, community, quality and stewardship.
