Job summary

Hilmar Cheese Company is seeking a Milk Receiver to manage milk tanker throughput and ensure quality from incoming raw milk. You will operate receiving bay equipment, test samples, and maintain safety and sanitation standards across shifts.

You will also be responsible for maintaining licenses where applicable, coordinating with teams, and supporting training initiatives while upholding food safety policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speak English.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Optimize milk tanker throughput.
• CIP/COP related process equipment as required by PMO and internal policies.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes.
• Acquire state issued licenses for Beta-Lactam screening and Sampler’s/Weigher’s license (if applicable).
• Operate HMI process controls and understand milk quality and safety.
• Perform quality control checks on incoming raw milk ingredients.
• Follow Master Sanitation Schedule and ensure proper cleaning documentation.
• Communicate effectively and participate in training and development activities.
• Coach and train teammates and participate in on-the-job training.
• Prioritize food safety and sanitation and report safety issues.
