Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business segment of Element Solutions Inc, is seeking a sTIM Extrusion/Mill Operator for day 12-hour shifts in Itasca, IL. This role rotates 2 on/2 off/3 on, including some nights and weekends, with a 10% shift differential.

You will operate production equipment, load materials, perform assembly, maintain 5S, and help meet daily production goals. Base salary ranges from $44,000 to $52,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–2 years of manufacturing, production, or related experience.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience using hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment in accordance with standard work instructions.
• Load and unload materials, components, and finished products.
• Perform assembly, machine operation, packaging, and other manufacturing tasks.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality requirements and specifications.
• Complete production records and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles.
• Assist with equipment changeovers and basic setup activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and report operational, quality, or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work practices.
• Support the achievement of daily production, quality, and efficiency goals.
