Job summary

Hemet Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an Emergency Department Tech for varied 12-hour shifts. Under RN supervision, the ED Tech assists with patient care as directed by the RN or ED physician and helps maintain a safe ED environment.

This role provides support to Nursing Staff and Clinical Providers, relieving Patient Attendants or CNAs when needed to observe patients for safety. Benefits include medical/dental/vision for all staff, employer-paid medical, EAP, life/AD&D, 401k

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School diploma or equiv preferred
• Minimum Experience: 6 months experience preferred
• Required License/ Certifications: BLS and MAB certificate upon (90 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN), the ED Tech (PA) maintains a safe environment and provides care to patients as directed by the RN or ED MD.
• The ED Tech provides support for Nursing Staff and Clinical Providers in the ED. The ED Tech can relieve the Patient Attendants or CNAs who observing patients for safety.
