Job summary

Home Care Assistance in Albuquerque's Northeast Heights is seeking 2 experienced caregivers to provide hands-on care for a husband-and-wife team. We offer a single 12-hour day shift from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday–Sunday, with a compassionate, client‑focused approach.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years of caregiving experience; CNAs are encouraged to apply. Training is provided, and benefits include medical coverage, a $175 perfect attendance bonus, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of caregiving experience.
• CNA applicants are encouraged to apply.
• Hoyer lift experience preferred or willingness to learn.
• Comfortable with full physical pivot transfers and hands-on mobility assistance.
• Able to provide full assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Support dementia-related behaviors and hospice clients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide hands-on assistance with ambulation, mobility, and transfers.
• Follow care plans and safety procedures for transfers and mobility.
• Assist with meal planning and cooking for both clients.
• Plan groceries and coordinate with family for shopping.
• Help with laundry, linens, and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and supportive, calm care.
• Support clients with dementia-related behaviors and hospice needs.
