Job summary

SEJ Services, LLC is seeking a responsible 1st Shift Lead Cleaner for our Huntsville, AL site. You will supervise 5–9 team members, manage daily cleaning tasks, and ensure safety standards are followed while delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities include supervising, training, scheduling, and coordinating cleaning operations across industrial and aerospace facilities. Competitive benefits and DailyPay available.

Qualifications

• Must have a personal smart phone and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check if required for the position, and meet all hiring requirements.
• Positive attitude with the ability to accept feedback, follow directions, and maintain dependable attendance
• Ability to work well with others and contribute to a productive team environment
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
• Able to work efficiently, stay organized, and maintain a strong sense of urgency and customer service focus
• Willing and able to perform a variety of cleaning and operational tasks as business needs require
• Prior experience in a labor-based role preferred
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical duties associated with janitorial operations, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and remaining active throughout the shift.

• Clean restrooms
• Sanitize all high touch points, spot clean glass, dust, and stock supplies
• Primary point of contact for the cleaning team during assigned shifts
• Assist with assigning daily tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently and on schedule
• Support training and onboarding of new team members on cleaning procedures and site expectations
• Monitor and communicate supply needs, equipment issues, or building concerns to management
• Promote a safe, professional, and positive work environment
• Lead by example through reliability, attendance, work ethic, and teamwork

• Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00
