113-26 Water Treatment Plant Operator:To perform a variety of tasks in the operational duties of the City of Stillwater Water Treatment facilities. This position reports directly to the Lead Operator
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, one year experience preferred. Possession of a valid driver’s license. Must obtain Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire. Must possess a Class C Water Operator’s License from the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (or demonstrate equal licensure from another state and obtain reciprocity within 90 days). Must obtain Class C Water Lab certification within 18 months of hire. Class B Water Lab certification and Class B Water Operator’s License is preferred.
Schedule:This position works a shift schedule, consisting of 12-hour shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. Employees work approximately 15 days per month, including every other weekend, with built-in days off throughout the week.
Starting Rate:$17.75 - $26.86 per hour DOQ plus comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, annual leave, sick leave and personal days.
