You will write and maintain C++ code enabling autonomy and remote-control functionality, and collaborate to deliver releases with a skilled team. The role requires 2+ years of C++ experience, unit testing, and exposure to SIL testing; familiarity with Ethernet tools like Wireshark is

Position Overview

You will be dedicated to the SATS maintenance and Command for Dozing (remote control) workstream for Large Track-Type Tractors, supporting a regular release cadence and helping extend autonomy capabilities to additional machine models.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain application-level C++ code that enables the remote-control and autonomy systems to perform as intended on dozers
• Deliver releases and resolve issues alongside fellow Software Developers and Systems Engineers

Team Structure & Work Environment

• A Domain Architect serves as the lead software expert and directs technical work
• A Technology Project Manager (TPM) oversees the overall project and budget
• Office-based, with occasional hands-on support at the Proving Grounds

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of demonstrated professional C++ development experience
• Experience with unit testing and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing
• Experience with Ethernet analysis tools such as Wireshark

Preferred Qualifications

• Robotics and/or automation experience
• Experience with CANape or CANalyzer
• Familiarity with construction equipment
