Position Overview

This role is responsible for developing the manufacturing process to enable centrifugal casting, including the associated manufacturing parameters. The role is a mix of research & development and hands-on execution of the associated Design of Experiments (DOEs). Key objectives of this work include:

Elimination of silica exposure risk associated with traditional casting methods
Single-piece product flow with full traceability
$1M+ in cost savings per year, per machine

Work Environment

This role is primarily shop floor based (approximately 75%). Required PPE includes steel-toed boots with metatarsal guards, foam-sealed safety glasses with strap, FR pants and jacket, and a bump cap.

Education & Experience

2–4 years of industrial experience required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; an Associate's degree will be considered with 4+ years of relevant experience, and a Master's degree will be considered with a minimum of 2 years of experience
