Position Overview

The PT Assistant Manager is responsible for executing all operational, merchandising, and managerial functions during their assigned shift. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager serves as the manager-on-duty, overseeing daily operations and supervising Sales Associates.

Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions
  • Driving Sales: Drive sales to meet and exceed financial goals, evaluate business performance, and assist in setting store goals. Manage store expenses and merchandise effectively. Support marketing initiatives, including grassroots events and social media engagement.
  • Customer Experience: Provide exceptional service, optimize store zoning, educate customers and staff on products, and uphold company values.
  • Operations: Act as manager on duty, communicate with management, conduct staff updates, maintain store standards, assist with inventory, and manage time efficiently.
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years retail experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in retail math, POS systems, and computer skills.
  • High initiative, accountability, and ability to prioritize.
Work Requirements
  • Lift 30 lbs, stand for 8–10 hours, use ladders, and work flexible hours including holidays and weekends. Minimal travel may be required.
