Job summary

IDEA Public Schools Florida seeks a full-time teacher to deliver rigorous instruction aligned with IDEA curricula across high-quality standards. You will plan, implement, and assess student learning daily, working to ensure college readiness through dual-enrollment and AP/IB opportunities where available.

You will collaborate with families and colleagues, maintain student progress records, and participate in after-school duties as needed, with a strong commitment to IDEA’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Florida educator certification required or willing to pursue
• Experience in a K-12 classroom strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula
• Deliver grade-level instruction and assessments
• Submit weekly lesson plans for feedback two weeks in advance
• Track student progress and adjust plans accordingly
• Communicate student progress to families weekly
• Engage in school-wide initiatives and professional development
• Spend 40+ hours per week on-site and participate in after-hours duties as needed
