Qualifications

Role Summary

Responsible for facilitating communication and collaboration with the healthcare team and patients/families to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Promotes patient health, safety, and well-being through nursing processes and standards, demonstrating accountability and relationship-based care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs, and evaluate responses to interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans and monitor outcomes.
  • Demonstrate competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions such as IV placement, wound care, medication administration, and specimen collection.
  • Advocate for patient rights and collaborate to ensure safety and quality of care.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • One year of experience preferred, especially in Cardiac Stroke/PCU
  • Current Colorado RN license or a valid Compact license from an NCLA state
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
