Job summary

Allara is hiring Registered Dietitians to deliver high-quality nutrition care to women across the United States through fully remote telehealth sessions.

You will analyze assessments, counsel on diet and lifestyle, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes while maintaining thorough records and dedicating at least 10 patient-facing hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with current CDR certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with complex women’s health patients preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously with strong clinical judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with compassionate approach.
• Proficient with telehealth platforms and multiple EMR and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze intake assessments including medical history and dietary habits.
• Provide diet and lifestyle counseling via video sessions.
• Use provided nutrition materials and adapt to patient needs.
• Apply motivational interviewing and behavior-change techniques.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs on medical management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
• Commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours per week plus admin time.
• Address patient inquiries and manage administrative messages promptly.

Location: Fully remote within the U.S.

Your Impact

• Analyze intake assessments, including medical history, dietary habits, laboratory results, and more.
• Conduct diet and lifestyle counseling and education sessions via video, including offering general movement, sleep, or stress management advice as needed and related to nutrition care.
• Employ Allara’s provided nutrition training and educational materials to ensure consistent care while adapting to patient needs.
• Incorporate motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques throughout the continuity of care.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of your patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week in addition to administrative time.
• Responsibilities also include charting, addressing patient inquiries, and responding to administrative tasks and messages in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

• Certification: Registered Dietitian with current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Experience: 1 year of experience treating patients with complex women’s health conditions (strongly desired).
• Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity
• Webside Manner: A natural ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting
• Evidence-Based Practice: A genuine commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working across multiple platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools
• Telemedicine Experience: Prior telehealth experience is a plus
• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state is required.
