Job summary

Proof Technology is seeking Process Servers to join its network of independent contractors to deliver legal documents in your area. Set your own schedule and workload, accepting jobs through the Proof app. You control when you work and how much you take on, with earnings tracked in real time.

As a 1099 contractor, you must be licensed process server where required, maintain a valid driver’s license, and meet state requirements. Prior experience helps; NAPPS membership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed, registered, or certified process server where required by state law.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in process serving or related fields required; training not provided by Proof.
• NAPPS membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver legal documents in your assigned area.
• Set your own schedule and workload; accept work via the Proof app.
• Track earnings in real time and communicate with clients and Proof representatives.
• Maintain accuracy and reliability in service delivery.

Requirements

• Certification: You must be a Licensed, Registered, or Certified Process Server if your state or county laws require it. Must have a valid drivers license.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with iPhone/iPad or Android devices and capable of using a mobile app.
• Document Handling: Ability to scan and print documents. Free printing services are available via FedEx.
• Experience: Prior experience in process serving or a related field (law enforcement, private investigations, etc.) is required, as Proof is not an employer and does not provide training. National Association of Professional Process Servers (NAPPS) membership is preferred.
