Job summary

Revive Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support West pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, regulatory compliance, and top-tier customer service. This role can be engaged as a W2 employee or a 1099 contractor.

You will read medication orders, enter data, handle insurance interactions, and assist in dispensing medications while maintaining inventory and safety standards across a fast-growing healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current pharmacy technician registration/certification.
• Montana pharmacy technician licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret physician's medication orders.
• Data entry, insurance adjudication, troubleshoot Prior Authorizations and other insurance rejections.
• Answer phone calls from patients, prescribers and provide customer service.
• Aid in filling, processing, and dispensing medications.
• Re-package and label medications.
• Package prescription orders.
• Operate the postal manifesting system to process outgoing packages efficiently and accurately.
• Adhere to safety practices to ensure quality care for patients.
• Maintain drug inventory through inventory control practices.
• Provide customer service by answering calls and emails promptly.
• Triage requests and prioritize them.

The Pharmacy Technician will ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and provide exceptional service to our customers. This position is available as a W2 or as a 1099 contractor.

Duties:

• Read and interpret physician's medication orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Current pharmacy technician registration/certification.
• Pharmacy technician licensure in the state of Montana.
• Basic mathematics skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure.
• Effective computer and keyboarding skills.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy information systems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong prioritization skills and an ability to make decisions independently and effectively.
• Familiarity with pharmacy practice settings, legal requirements and limitations, prescription information and calculations, drug identification and generic equivalents, drug manufacturing, packaging and labeling information, and proper drug handling and storage practices (preferred).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and able to lift and handle packages safely
