Job summary

Ccms- is seeking a 1099 Residential or Commercial Field Adjuster in Missouri to join our claims team. You will conduct field property inspections using Xactimate, prepare loss documentation, and communicate findings clearly to our clients and carriers.

Responsibilities include investigating claims, estimating reserves, reviewing coverage forms, and maintaining high-quality reporting. Strong time management, customer service, and knowledge of property insurance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing statements of loss and denial letters.
• First-party property adjusting experience preferred.
• Ability to inspect residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential and commercial field property inspections utilizing Xactimate software.
• Investigate claims by obtaining statements and interviewing officials and witnesses.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation through reserve reports.
• Obtain and interpret official reports.
• Review coverage forms and endorsements and provide a thorough analysis in a captioned report.
• Maintain product quality through compliance with best practices.

We are answering a call to action to expand our roster - join us as a 1099 Residential or Commercial Field Adjuster!

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year first-party commercial and/or residential property adjusting experience
• Maintain own current estimating software - Xactimate preferred (Cotality a plus)
• Working computer with internet access and Microsoft Word
• Strong time management and customer service skills
• Experience in preparing Statement of Loss, Proof of Loss, and denial letters

Responsibilities:

• Complete residential and commercial field property inspections utilizing Xactimate software
• Investigate claims by obtaining recorded statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses and by interviewing fire, police, or other governmental officials as well as inspecting claimed damages
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation, through well-supported reserve report
• Obtain and interpret official reports
• Review applicable coverage forms and endorsements, provide a thorough analysis of coverage and any coverage issues in a well-documented initial captioned report to the client
• Maintain acceptable product quality through compliance with established best practices

Knowledge and Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of property and liability insurance coverage and industry standards
• Ability to prepare full-captioned reports by collecting and summarizing required information
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Prompt, reliable, friendly, and professional

Preferred but Not Required:

• AIC, IICRC, HAAG or other professional designations
