Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced and reliable Over-the-Road Truck Drivers to join our team. As a driver for APL Cargo Inc., you will be responsible for transporting goods across various states, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transport goods across multiple states
2. Ensure on-time pick-up and delivery of shipments
3. Maintain a high safety score with no accidents and no bad DOT inspections
4. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies
5. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
6. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

Compensation:

1. Starting Pay: $0.65 per mile

Safety Bonuses for Clean Inspections:

1. Level 1: $300
2. Level 2: $200
3. Level 3: $100

Monthly Bonus Structure:

1. MPG 7+: $200
2. On-Time Pick-Up and Delivery (95%+): $200
3. Safety Score (95%+) with No Accidents and No Bad DOT Inspections: $200
4. Earn Up to $600 a month in bonuses

Evaluations and Raise Structure:

1. 90 Days: $0.02 per mile increase
2. 1 Year: Additional $0.02 per mile increase
3. Each Year After: $0.01 per mile increase

Additional Pay:

1. Layover/Breakdown Pay: $100 after 8 hours
2. Detention Pay: $15 per hour after the first 3 hours free from the appointment
