Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Central Valley is seeking an Anesthesiologist on a 1099 independent contractor basis in Modesto, CA, with services across Modesto, Manteca, and Stockton Medical Centers. The role offers flexible, autonomous practice within a high-volume surgical environment and a collaborative perioperative team.

Responsibilities include comprehensive anesthesia care, pre-anesthesia evaluations, and anesthetic planning across general, orthopedics, OB, urology, ENT and vascular cases.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
