What you will be doing
We are in search of an Executive Principal, Infrastructure Operations to work 5-days on-site at our corporate headquarters in Irvine, CA.
The selected candidate will be the senior executive accountable forend‑to‑endenterprise infrastructure operations, including data centers, networks, cloud and hybrid platforms, workplace services, and core platform reliability.
This role ownsday‑to‑dayrun operations, service stability, operational risk, and continuous improvement across infrastructure domains—executed primarily throughinternal operations teams, with selective use of vendors as supporting parties rather than primary service owners.
The Executive Principal ensures infrastructure services arereliable, secure, compliant, andcost‑effective, while providing the operational foundation required for business continuity and growth. You will have Executive Accountability and be thesingle point of executive ownershipfor:
- Enterprise infrastructure availability, resilience, and operational stability
- End‑to‑end operationsacross all infrastructure domains
- Incident prevention, response, and service recovery
- Operational risk management, compliance, and audit readiness
- Infrastructure cost control, efficiency, and capacity planning
- Continuous improvement and modernization of run practices
Enterprise Infrastructure Operations Ownership
- Own andoperateall core infrastructure services, including datacenter,network, cloud/ hybrid,platform, and workplace operations.
- Ensure24x7x365 operational reliability, service continuity, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Serve as theexecutive escalation authorityfor major incidents, systemic failures, and enterprise outages.
- Define and enforceclear operational accountabilityacross internal infrastructure teams.
Service Management & Operational Excellence
- Establish and enforce enterprise standards forIT Service Management (ITSM)including incident, problem, change, and escalation management.
- Reduce chronic incidents throughroot cause remediation, trend analysis, and elimination of recurring failures.
- Ensure service reporting isaccurate, actionable, and aligned to executive and business expectations.
- Drive predictable service performance through disciplined run processes and operational rigor.
Infrastructure Reliability & Risk Management
- Own enterprise infrastructureavailability, resiliency, and fault tolerance strategies.
- Ensure infrastructure operations meetsecurity, compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Security and Risk functions to address operational vulnerabilities and control gaps.
- Ensure DR, backup, and recovery capabilities are tested, documented, and effective.
Vendor & Technology Oversight (Supporting Role)
- Oversee infrastructure vendors and partners assupporting contributors, not primary service owners.
- Ensure vendors integrate cleanly into internal operating models, toolsets, and processes.
- Maintain accountability for vendor performance without transferring ownership of outcomes.
- Support sourcing decisions, renewals, and performance reviews where external services arerequired.
Continuous Improvement & Modernization
- Drive continuous improvement across infrastructure operations throughautomation, tooling optimization, and process maturity.
- Partner with Architecture and Platform Engineering teams to transition new capabilities into stable run operations.
- Ensure modernization initiatives do not compromise operational stability or service reliability.
- Champion operational efficiency, simplification, and technical debt reduction.
Leadership & Organizational Alignment
- Lead and develop senior infrastructure operations leaders across domains.
- Establish clear separation and collaboration betweenCore(Engineering)andCore & Non-Core(Operations)functions.
- Provideexecutive‑leveltransparency into service health, risk exposure, and operational priorities.
- Build confidence withDirector Infrastructureand executive leadership through predictable and mature operations.
What we require from you
- 15+ years of senior IT infrastructure leadership experience withdirect operationalaccountability.
- Proven leadership oflarge‑scale,multi‑domaininfrastructure operations.
- Deepexpertisein datacenter,network, cloud/hybrid platforms, workplace, and service management.
- Strong experienceoperatinginhigh‑availability, regulated, or mission‑critical environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through operational complexity and organizational scale.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL v4 or equivalent operational framework experience.
- Strong background in hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Experience leading infrastructure operations in enterprise or global organizations.
- Financial acumen related to infrastructure cost management and optimization.

Base Salary Range: $190,000 to $220,000
