Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are looking for a compassionate and innovative Speech Therapist to join our team to work with infants, toddlers, and their families, empowering them to overcome challenges and unlock new opportunities for growth in their child’s development.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with families and team members: work with families, doctors, other professionals and community partners to evaluate needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and track progress.
  • Help families gain tools to support their child in meeting full potential.
  • Use creative coaching strategies: implement the Coaching Model so families lead development and interventions are integrated into daily activities.
  • Trauma‑informed care: approach interactions with empathy and respect to create a safe, supportive environment and build meaningful connections with families.

Location and Compensation

Location: Williamson County

Salary Range: $81,910.00 – $93,870.00

Differential Details:

  • 1.00/hour, 2 years previous experience
  • .75/hour, bilingual
  • Up to $4.00/hour, tenure with BTCS
Qualifications

Credentials / Minimum Qualifications:

  • A degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited college or university and current licensure to practice speech therapy in Texas.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with infants and toddlers with developmental needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferably, 1+ years of experience providing Speech therapy to young children and coaching families.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of typical and atypical development in children birth to three years old.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of childhood conditions related to early intervention services.
  • Understanding of team and family dynamics; ability to contribute as a leader and facilitator on teams with parents, caregivers, and other professional staff.
  • Ability to perform under minimal supervision with initiative, discretion, independent thought, judgment, and self‑motivation in matters affecting families and the agency.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, time management, and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to adhere to family‑centered, activity‑based early intervention practices.
  • Spanish reading, writing, and communication ability (preferred).
