Description

Manufactures high-quality and safe products by supervising staff; organizing and monitoring workflow; and promoting a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise manufacturing staff by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising performance; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring process steps, adjusting processing variables, overseeing control points and equipment, and studying methods for efficiency improvements.
• Achieve production goals related to efficiency, effectiveness, labor productivity, waste reduction, and minimizing downtime.
• Ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
• Maintain equipment functionality through timely repairs and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Promote a safe and clean work environment through 5S programs, proper use of equipment, and compliance with policies. Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce plant indicators.

Qualifications

• Availability to work all shifts and weekends
• Bachelor's Degree
• 2-3 years of experience in production management
• Industry knowledge preferred
• HACCP training
• High integrity and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of policy and procedure implementation
