Job summary

Canvas II, LLC seeks an experienced program management professional to support DoD aircraft weapon systems. The role requires managing cost, schedule, performance, and risk, plus doing acquisition program support activities such as data gathering, analyses, evaluation, and validation of documentation.

The ideal candidate will have advanced degrees and extensive DoD or USG ISR/SOF experience, with milestone planning, briefing prep, and coordination across teams.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in a related field with ten years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with twelve years of experience.
  • Fifteen years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category.
  • Five years of DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations experience, with the required certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide acquisition program support activities including data gathering, analyses, evaluation, and validation of program documentation.
  • Assist in milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation and staff coordination.
  • Assist in decision documentation and ensure alignment with DoD 5000 and AFI 63-101/20-101.
  • Balance cost, schedule, and performance factors to meet organizational and financial goals.

Job description

Must have current acquisition and program management knowledge and experience in support of aircraft weapon systems, DoD aircraft weapon systems are preferred, to include experience in managing program cost, schedule, performance, and risk. These personnel will also have a current knowledge and working experience of a wide variety of acquisition program support activities to assist in performing a wide range of program management activities to include assistance in gathering data, conducting analyses, evaluation, and validation of acquisition programmatic documentation. These activities balance many factors influencing cost, schedule, and performance to include, but are not limited to, meeting organizational goals, meeting financial goals, risk management, schedule management, project(s) integration, financial management, and the ability to integrate the separate functions to plan and implement acquisition management according to DoD 5000 and AFI 63-101/20-101. The Contractor must have skills in developing pre- and post-award documentation and will assist in milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation, staff coordination, and decision documentation.QualificationsMaster’s or Doctorate degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.OR, bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
