Job summary

Abound Health is hiring compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with I/DD in State College, PA. Full-time and part-time hours available; $1,000 signing bonus; $17.00–$25.00 per hour.

As a DSP, you will provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities to help them live safely, independently, and with dignity.

Qualifications

• One year of caregiving experience preferred (training provided).
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
• Able to pass background checks.
• Age 18+ and HS diploma.

Abound Health is hiring compassionate, reliable Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in State College, PA.

Full-time and part-time hours available.

About the Role

As a DSP, you will provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities. Your work helps individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, dependable, and passionate about helping others.

Key Responsibilities

• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development

What We’re Looking For

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal-care and behavioral-support needs
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background checks
• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed

Compensation

• $17.00–$25.00 per hour
• $1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates

Schedule

• Various hours with flexible scheduling
• Morning, afternoon, or evening shifts available
