Job summary

Abound Health is hiring compassionate Home Based Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with IDD in Julian, PA. This role offers full-time and part-time hours, focusing on in-home and community-based support. Abound Health is hiring compassionate reliable Home Based Direct Support Professionals DSPs to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities IDD in Julian PA Full time and part time hours available

About the Role

As a DSP you will provide one on one support in clients homes and communities Your work helps individuals live safely independently and with dignity This role is ideal for someone who is patient dependable and passionate about helping others

Key Responsibilities

• Support behavioral social and vocational skill development
• Assist with recreational and community activities
• Follow treatment plans and document progress
• Provide companionship and respite care
• Submit documentation and payroll on time
• Participate in ongoing training
• Assist with personal care needs as required
• Work independently in home and community settings

What Were Looking For

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with IDD
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Valid drivers license and active car insurance
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal care and behavioral support needs
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background checks
• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed

Compensation

Compensation 17002500 per hour 1000 signing bonus for qualified candidates

Schedule

Various hours with flexible scheduling Morning afternoon or evening shifts available

Experience

One year of caregiving experience preferred not required training provided

Signing Bonus Details

Bonus not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider RAP hires Applicants must not have worked for Abound Health or its affiliates within the past 18 months
