Job summary

Array Behavioral Care is seeking a licensed psychiatrist for a 100% remote, part-time role in Illinois. You will provide telepsychiatry services to adults (18+) at a flexible 8 hours per week, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management.

The ideal candidate has an active IL license, 1–3 years of post-licensure experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with telepsychiatry technology. Private home office space is required.

Qualifications

• Active license in Illinois.
• 1–3 years of experience since licensure.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with telepsychiatry technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of psychiatric services including assessment, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.
• Analyze patient data and test findings to diagnose mental health disorders.
• Prescribe medications and implement psychotherapeutic treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with other clinicians to discuss treatment plans and progress.
• Order or examine laboratory tests to inform physical and mental health status.
• Participate in treatment team activities and review treatment plans as needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have an opportunity for a psychiatrist with an active Illinois license for a 100% telepsychiatry position. This position is part-time (8 hours/week) and will allow you to provide services remotely for patients accessing care from an outpatient clinic. Patient population is adults, ages 18+.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Provide a full range of psychiatric services to assigned patients, including assessment, evaluation, screening, diagnosis, and treatment

• Analyze and evaluate patient data and test findings to diagnose nature and extent of behavioral health disorder

• Direct and/or implement psychotherapeutic treatments as well as prescribe medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders

• Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, or other professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress

• Examine or order laboratory tests to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorders

• Participate in treatment team activities to include the development and periodic review of treatment plans and to take the necessary steps when an individual refuses treatment

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Clinicians must have active state license

• 1-3 years of experience since obtaining license

• Intermediate to advanced experience with technology

• Strong communication skills

• Established and updated CAQH profile strongly preferred

POSITION LOGISTICS

• 100% remote position

• Required to have a private office space in home or elsewhere for confidentiality

• You will likely be required to work with Array to obtain additional state licensure and DEA licenses. We will support that process and cover the costs and/or reimburse for out-of-pocket expenses.
