Job Title: Genetec Deployment Consultant

Location: Lake County, IL 60045 (Open for 100% Remote)

Myticas' direct client is seeking an experienced Genetec Deployment Consultant for a remote 6+ months contract position in North Chicago, IL.

Job Description:

The role involves serving as the technical lead for deployments and upgrades of access control solutions at client locations. Responsibilities include documenting and understanding technical requirements, partnering with infrastructure and network teams, building and updating documentation, supporting system integrators, managing software and hardware installations, and creating deliverables for gate review meetings. The person will also be responsible for continuously improving our toolkit and templates for site-based deployments. These mission-critical systems require careful attention to ensure all client colleagues are safe and secure on site.

Required Experience & Technical Skills/Education:

• 5-10 years of experience in the IT industry
• Current Genetec certification
• Experience deploying access control and surveillance systems
• Experience with infrastructure and software maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience with network communications protocols
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Excellent documentation and lifecycle/SLC skills
• A sense of urgency and ownership mentality
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent project workstreams
