Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Construction to lead and oversee large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in construction and data centers, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for all construction operations, from pre-construction through project closeout.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple simultaneous projects, with a strong focus on civil, structural, and electrical substation work.
  • Manage and coordinate mass grading operations, deep foundations, concrete pours, underground utility installation, and substation construction activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.
  • Develop budgets, track costs, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality control procedures.
  • Review and approve project schedules, submittals, and change orders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Mentor and develop construction management staff to support organizational growth and capability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex construction and logistical challenges.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of progressive construction management experience, including large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
  • Proven expertise in construction and data centers.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing large teams and multiple projects.
  • Excellent understanding of construction safety practices and regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software, scheduling tools, and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operations related to earthwork and grading.
