This leadership-focused role offers significant flexibility, allowing for remote administrative work and optional clinical engagement—you may choose to provide patient care as much or as little as you prefer.

  • Participate in statewide Medical Director meetings, engage in advocacy efforts at the State Capitol, and serve as a liaison between the organization and local healthcare systems.
  • Lead our transformation toward Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) status.
  • Receive substantial organizational support, resources, and funding to effectively implement programs and enhance patient care.
  • Provide clinical supervision to a team of 7 psychiatry-trained providers. Consult on complex cases and evaluate risk factors.
  • Work Monday through Friday with no call responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Psychiatrist—Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or Addiction Psychiatry preferred.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Central Vermont.
