Job summary

Transporting Logistics in Staunton, VA is seeking a Local CDL-A Truck Driver for daily home time and regional deliveries to NC, VA, PA, and WV. Earn an average of $1,400+ per week with top drivers at $1,800+ weekly, aiming at $70k–$95k+ annually, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

You will run 100% no-touch, live unload freight and operate newer day cabs in slip-seat; routine 5 days on, 2 off with a daily home time and 48-hour reset; shifts may include nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL-A license and current medical card.
• Minimum 3 months of driving experience in the last 36 months.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment screening including hair follicle and urine tests, plus DOT physical.
• Reliable personal transportation to the distribution center daily.

Responsibilities

• Haul 100% no-touch, live unload dry and refrigerated freight.
• Deliver to regional retail locations across NC, VA, PA and WV.

Local CDL-A Truck Driver | Daily Home Time & $95,000+ Annual Potential + $2.5K Bonus

1. Earnings & Sign-On Bonus

• Bring home an average of $1,400+ per week, with top performers earning $1,800+ weekly (clearing $70k to $95k+ annually).
• Secure a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid out smoothly across your first 6 months.
• Flexible pay structure: routes pay whichever is greater between mileage band pay and experience-based CPM ($0.56 to $0.63 per mile), plus $20 stop pay.

2. Route & Freight Details

• Haul 100% no-touch, live unload dry and refrigerated freight delivering to regional retail locations across NC, VA, PA, and WV.
• Consistent mileage averaging 1,600 to 1,700 miles per week.

3. Schedule & Home Time

• Get daily home time with a reliable 48-hour reset (same 2 days off every week on a 5-day on / 2-day off schedule).
• 11 to 14-hour shifts requiring availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

4. Equipment, Screening & Requirements

• Drive newer model day cabs in a slip-seat operation.
• Must have reliable personal transportation to and from the distribution center daily.
• Requires at least 3 months of experience in the last 3 years (36 mos) behind the wheel.
• Mandatory pre-employment DOT screening required, including both a hair follicle test and a standard urine screen, plus a DOT physical.
