Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a 10-week assignment in Bloomfield, NM. Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 12 hours/day, 3 days/week. Minimum guarantee 36 hours weekly. Onsite local contract.

Under RN direction, the LPN provides nursing care, participates in care planning, administers medications, and supports discharge planning, ensuring safety and quality. Requires active LPN/LVN license, BLS/CPR, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English to ensure patient safety.
• Maintains required BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct patient care under RN supervision and documents care.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collects and reports objective and subjective data.
• Coordinates with RN and other departments to plan and implement care.
• Monitors patient conditions and communicates changes.
• Ensures documents are accurate and thorough.
