Job summary

Think Academy US, a TAL Education Group subsidiary, is seeking Remote Math Tutors to support online, one-on-one instruction for students in grades 5-8 across North America.

Deliver CCSS-aligned lessons in English, tailor content to each student, and provide timely feedback to promote understanding. This part-time role offers weekday evenings and weekend hours with opportunities for promotion.

Experience or certification preferred; bilingual Mandarin is a plus, and a Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Math, Education, or related fields preferred.
• Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred.
• Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 5-8 across North America, aligned with the CCSS framework.
• Teach in English using interactive and student-centered methods to promote engagement, strengthen core concept understanding, and address questions in real time.
• Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring well-structured and high-quality instruction.
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and continuous improvement.
