Job summary

Fusion Academy in Florida, a 1-to-1 private school for grades 4–12, seeks an English and History Teacher. You’ll shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues to personalize education.

Responsibilities include differentiating instruction, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to campus life. You’ll mentor students, support social-emotional development, and engage families. Interview process details will be shared during the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives), curriculum provided.
• Experience with students including those with learning differences and mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
• Florida residents require level 2 background screening.
