Job summary

Bellisio Foods in Ohio is seeking a Cook to join our production team. You will perform cooking processes according to batch sheets and ingredients, monitor temperatures and sauce thickness, and complete batch sheets and SSOPs.

We value GMP compliance, clear communication, documentation, and the ability to work under pressure. This role requires standing 8-10 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and following safety rules.

Cook

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform cooking process as designed and according to batch sheets.
• Addition of ingredients, following heating and cooling steps)
• Check and verify sauce thickness and temperatures according to batch sheet and cooking process.
• Know and follow all Human and Food Safety requirements.
• Perform kettle setup.
• Communicate issues with kettles to Lead or Supervisor.
• Properly complete batch sheets, MCP checks and SSOPs

Human safety, Food safety and Paperwork requirements

• Complete other paperwork as requested
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP'S)
• Follow all plant and area safety rules and regulations
• Follow all plant rules and polices

Physical requirements

• Able to stand 8-10 hours per day
• Able to bend or lift 8-10 hours per day
• Able to do repetitive wrist motions/demonstrate good range of motion in wrists
• Able to work overtime as required
• Able to lift up to 25-35 lbs. frequently and 45-50 occasionally
• Must be able to adhere to hot/ cold environments
