Job summary

KIPP Massachusetts is seeking committed Aides for KIPP Academy Boston Charter School. You will work with students needing additional support, collaborate with teachers, leaders, families, and participate in creating a joyful, rigorous, and inclusive learning environment.

Requires Associate’s Degree or 48 college credits or ParaPro, ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and a strong commitment to equity and student growth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or 48 college credits, or ParaPro Assessment with score 464 within a year.
• Experience or training in proper physical/tactical restraint procedures is preferred.
• Pass Criminal Background Checks

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, collaborating with the Lead Teacher and school team.
• Assist with lesson plans and learning materials to support student learning.
• Provide testing accommodations and supervise exams as needed.
• Review and correct student work and track progress to inform goals.
• Support students’ social and emotional growth and ensure a safe, inclusive environment
