Job summary

Delta-T Group Maryland, Inc. is seeking multiple Special Education Aides (1:1) to support students within Baltimore school systems for the 2026-2027 year. This long-term independent contractor role offers immediate start and competitive compensation.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma/GED and at least 1 year of experience with school-aged children. Background checks are required, and additional ADHD/Autism training is provided after selection.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of experience with school-aged children.
• Must be able to pass background checks.
• Additional training on ADHD, Autism, etc. is provided after selection.

Responsibilities

• Keep the student on task academically.
• Monitor progress per IEP and BIP.
• Assist with class transitions during the day.
• Provide verbal cues and de-escalation tools during crises.
• Support teachers when help is requested.
