Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; paraprofessional aide certification required (can be obtained after employment).
• Associate’s degree or 48 hours/2 years of higher education preferred.
• Experience working with students; ability to work with children with disabilities and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction under the supervision of a teacher.
• Assist with instructional activities for individuals or small groups.
• Help with classroom management and organizational tasks.
• Support with parent involvement activities and record-keeping.
