Job summary

Fusion Academy in San Francisco is seeking a Science Teacher to deliver personalized, one-on-one science instruction for students in grades 5–12. You’ll shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues across a dynamic, student-centered campus.

We value growth, mentorship, and social-emotional learning, and provide resources to cover a broad range of science topics from Earth to Astronomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; teaching credential or advanced degree is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of science courses (Earth, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, etc.).
• Experience with diverse learners, including learning differences and neurodiversity.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Strong communication and adaptability in a dynamic, student-centered environment.

Responsibilities
