Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time contract in McKeesport, PA. The RN will oversee the nursing process and deliver individualized student care within the school setting, ensuring alignment with physician orders and district standards.

Minimum requirements include an active RN license and CPR as applicable, with preferences for school-nursing and pediatric experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the states of practice.
• 1 year of school nursing experience preferred.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of the nursing process in the school.
• Provide individualized student care in the school setting.
• Ensure services align with physician orders and district/ Amergis policies.
• Adhere to professional standards of practice and applicable health regulations.
