Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Georgia RN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Pediatric, school nursing, home health, or medically fragile student care experience preferred.
• Ability to pass district, agency, background, and onboarding requirements.
• Must be able to ride school transportation when assigned.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) not mandatory but highly requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to medically fragile students during the school day and transportation as needed.
• Document care, administer medications, and communicate with families and school staff.
• Follow physician orders, Individualized Healthcare Plans, and district nursing procedures.
• Monitor seizures, manage G-tube feeding, oxygen use, asthma care, and other complex conditions.
• Accompany students on bus transportation and ensure safety during loading/unloading.
