Zusammenfassung

Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate and dedicated RNs and LPNs to provide 1:1 nursing support to a student throughout the school day, including transportation to and from school.

In this role, you will meet the student at their home, accompany them on the school bus, monitor health and medical needs, administer medications as prescribed, and collaborate with school staff and families to ensure safety and well-being.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of practice
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Experience in pediatric nursing, school nursing, or related settings preferred
• Comfortable providing continuous 1:1 nursing care in a school setting and during student transportation

Aufgaben

• Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care and continuous monitoring for an assigned student
• Meet the student at their home and accompany them on the school bus to and from school
• Remain with the student throughout the school day to monitor health and medical needs
• Administer medications and nursing interventions as prescribed
• Monitor the student’s condition and respond to changes in health status
• Provide first aid and emergency nursing care as needed
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support medical needs
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation
• Follow individualized healthcare plans and school policies
