Job summary

One Comprehensive Network is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for 1:1 school-based care with NYC Public Schools across all five boroughs. This 1099 independent contractor role offers a daytime schedule and the chance to provide skilled nursing to medically fragile students in the classroom.

Typical shift is 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM with no nights or weekends. Compensation ranges from $50 to $60+ per hour based on experience, with placements aligned to the academic calendar and

Qualifications

• Active NYS RN license.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Pediatric, school-based, home care, or community-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication and independent clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one nursing services to a medically fragile student throughout the school day
• Support students with needs that may include seizure care, diabetes management, G-tube feeding, suctioning, oxygen administration, ventilator support, pulse oximetry, medication administration, and other skilled interventions
• Ride the bus with the student if required by the assignment
• Partner with school personnel, family members, and care teams
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with DOE and NYS requirements
