Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one nursing care to a student in a school setting near Apex, NC.

The role requires active LPN/LVN licensure in the state, current health certificate and BLS, and may include travel with the student. Competitive pay is $33.00 to $35.00 per hour with benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure in NC.
• Current Health Certificate.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior LVN/LPN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for student with medical needs (trach, vent, G-tube feeds, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, diabetic care, etc.).
• May ride the bus to and from school with patient.
