Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a 1:1 School LPN/LVN to identify and address health concerns in students within the school setting, promoting wellness and health education. This travel role supports 1:1 care in Tonopah, AZ.

The LPN/LVN must hold an active license in the service state, have pediatric experience if possible, and comply with all regulations. Reliable, flexible healthcare professional ready to work in schools under contract.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the service state
• One year of school nurse experience preferred
• One year pediatric experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

1:1 School LPN

The 1:1 School LPN/LVN is responsible for identifying andaddressing health concerns in students within the school setting. This roleincludes promoting general wellness, providing health education, and supportingdisease prevention efforts. The School LPN/LVN monitors the student’s physicalcondition throughout the school day and refers to appropriate healthcareresources when necessary. All care is delivered in accordance with the SchoolLPN/LVN scope of practice and in compliance with applicable state educationcodes.
